Rekind Commemorated State Defense Day 2018

Jakarta-Wednesday (19/12), PT. Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) held a commemoration ceremony for the 2018 State Defense Day, which was centered at ROB 2 Square, Jalan Kalibata Timur I, No.38 Kalibata, South Jakarta.

It was led directly by the Operating Director of Rekind, Jakob Tarigan as the ceremony inspector and followed by the entire board of directors, staff and employees.

The ceremony was held in connection with a circular letter from the Secretary General of the National Resilience Council Number: B-1247/Wantannas/Sesjen/11/2018 dated 30 November 2018 which was addressed to the Minister of the State Owned Enterprise of the Republic of Indonesia concerning the stipulation of December 19 as the State Defense Day. In addition, this activity is also based on Presidential Instruction Number 7 of 2018 dated September 18, 2018, concerning the National State Defense Action Plan 2018-2019.

In the ceremony which started right at 7:30 this time, Jakob Tarigan read the mandate of the Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Human Rights (Menkopolhukam) Wiranto. In his speech, he emphasized that the stipulation of State Defense Day made state defense have a broad and complex context.

The task of defending the country is not an easy task, along with the increasingly complex challenges that we face today, but by synergizing among some elements, the belief and expectation to bring Indonesia into a full sovereign, independent and culturally chacracterized nation will always be engraved strongly in our hearts and this will come true.
