Rekind built Glenmore Sugar Plant production capacity: 6,000 tonnes sugar cane per days using defecation and remelt technology in East Java. It also produced several high value by-products, like organic fertilizer, animal feed, bioethanol, and flavoring. Remarkably, it could supply enough electricity for the whole plant using biomass power plant (2 x 10 MW) while excess power could be provided for local communities. Liquid waste generated by this plant could be re-processed into pure water. As conclusion, zero this sugar plant exhibited zero waste production technology. Additionally, 2.5 millions hours without accident was reached during the EPC of this plant.
