Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) are the main commitments that are fully carried out by PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind), both in supporting assigned project work and supporting activities at the head office.For this high commitment, recently Rekind was awarded two Zero Accident Awards which were awarded by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia. The first award was obtained by Rekind through development activities at the Lombok CFSPP Steam Power Plant (PLTU) Project – FTP-2, in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, with the achievement of 2,160,863 people working hours without accidents, from June 1, 2019 to 31 August 2020.
The second award was obtained through the construction of the Oil & Gas Flare Relocation Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) project in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, with the achievement of 1,857,635 people working hours without accidents, from February 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020.
The Zero Accident Award is an award given by the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia based on the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Number PER-01/MEN/I/2007 to companies that have achievements in implementing Safety, Health, and Environment (HSE) Programs.
“Rekind itself is an EPC company whose work carries a very high risk. Therefore, we are always committed to always carry out the Safety, Health, and Environment (HSE) program consistently. Alhamdulillah, this commitment gave birth to achievements by achieving the Zero Accident Award in every project run by Rekind. This is very proud,” said the Managing Director of Rekind Triyani Utaminingsih.This high commitment can support the creation of a safe work environment, especially for man power which is the main asset for Rekind. Thus, it can support work effectiveness and accelerate the execution of a project.
“In the future, the HSE programs developed by Rekind will focus on changing the HSE Culture in the company. This step is once again Rekind’s obligation to continue to minimize the number of work accidents, “said Hendi Hidayat, VP of HSE Rekind added.
