PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) also enlivened the peak of commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2023, on 12 – 13 December 2023, at Istora Senayan, Jakarta. Rekind was present at the PT Pupuk Indonesia (PI) booth together with other PI subsidiaries.
The event, which has the theme “Synergy to Eradicate Corruption, for an Advanced Indonesia”, also aims to socialize, campaign and raise awareness of the dangers of corruption to the public. This step can also be said to be a form of Rekind’s synergy as part of the BUMN family in fully supporting efforts to eradicate corruption in the country.
Hakordia is celebrated every year on December 9. Established by the UN since 2003, Hakordia has united the views of countries that corruption is a common enemy because of the negative impacts it causes. Through Hakordia, every country wants to show their role and responsibility in efforts to eradicate corruption which has become an extraordinary crime. In Indonesia, the Corruption Eradication Committee held a Hakordia commemoration with outreach, campaigns and awareness of the dangers of corruption to the public through various interesting programs and events.
Apart from these forms of support, Rekind’s concrete efforts in fighting corruption are actively supporting the government’s steps in efforts to eradicate the spread of KKN (Corruption, Collusion, Nepotism) practices in this country, including, prioritizing the State Officials’ Wealth Report (LHKPN) system.
LHKPN, which is actively promoted by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), is a guide and direction for Rekind, especially structural officials and company leaders, to be more careful and careful so as not to fall into the vortex of KKN.
LHKPN is one of the tools, methods or efforts to monitor and prevent KKN, in this case, criminal acts of corruption. It is open and transparent in nature. The public can also play an active and free role in supervising the assets of state administrators, including Rekind officials. If there is something odd, anyone can report it directly to the Corruption Eradication Commission. As long as you don’t just make accusations and have clear concrete evidence.
For these efforts, in 2022 Rekind was awarded the Silver Winner at the 1st Indonesia DEI (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion) & ESG (Environmental, Social, & Governance) Awards 2022 (IDEAS). This award was given for Rekind’s commitment to an Anti-Bribery Culture through the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP). For Rekind, by implementing SMAP, from a business perspective it can reduce potential financial losses so that the company’s business processes will be more efficient and can increase its competitiveness.
