PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) held a ceremony commemorating the 96th Youth Pledge Day at ROB 2 Parking Lot, Head of Rekind. The ceremony, which was held on Monday (28/10), was led directly by the President and Director of Rekind, Triyani Utamininsih. Acting as Commander of the Ceremony was the Director of Finance of PT Tracon Industri, Mardiyanto.

In her speech, Triyani Utaminingsih reiterated the meaning and spirit of Youth Pledge Day. “This diversity is a source of great strength for the nation’s progress. “Likewise, cross-generational collaboration can create optimism that today’s youth play an important role in national development,” he stressed.

Even though Indonesia still faces various major challenges such as corruption, poverty, unemployment, drug abuse, and the spread of hoax information, this should not dampen the enthusiasm of young people to continue fighting towards a more advanced, just, and prosperous Indonesia. “Every challenge we face must be a trigger for all of us to work harder to advance this nation,” he added.

In his message, he also highlighted the importance of mastering technology and digital literacy for young people. The rapid development of technology and the rapid flow of information continued by Triyani Utaminingish, has created a gap between generations in mastery of technology and information. Therefore, young people are expected to be able to master Technology, Information, and Digital Literacy (TILD) to remain relevant and productive in this digital era. Youth need to have a vision, mission, and strategic role for the next 30 years so that development can progress more quickly.

In closing, Triyani Utaminingsih invited all ceremony participants to commemorate the 96th Youth Pledge Day as a momentum for the revival of the spirit of collaboration for the progress of Indonesia. “Let’s make the commemoration of the 96th Youth Pledge Day a moment to raise the spirit of collaboration in advancing this country,” he said.

This solemn ceremony was also attended by the Rekind Board of Directors and Management along with various entities under the auspices of this state-owned EPC Company. Apart from that, there were also the Board of Directors of Pupuk Indonesia Niaga, the Board of Directors of Pupuk Indonesia Utilitas, as well as the Board of Directors of Anper Rekind, such as PT Rekayasa Engineering, PT Tracon Industri, and PT Yasa Industri Nusantara.

This momentum is not only an opportunity to commemorate history but also to strengthen the sense of togetherness and solidarity of all company members. Through the commemoration of Youth Pledge Day, Rekind wants to reaffirm its commitment to actively contribute to advancing the nation with a spirit of cross-generational collaboration.

May the spirit of the Youth Pledge continue to be imprinted in the hearts and minds of all of us. Happy 96th Youth Pledge Day, Moving Forward Together with Greater Indonesia!
