Rekind remained consistent in prioritizing its social responsibility to the community. That consistency and commitment was illustrated when Rekind and the Polish Embassy provided medical equipment and renovations at the Poskesdes (Village Health Post) Padak Guar and Puskesmas Sambelia District, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
The delivery of aid, which was centered at the Padak Guar Village Poskesdes, Tuesday (10/12), was given directly by the Polish Ambassador to Indonesia Beata Stoczynska and Triyani Utaminingsih, Director of Human Resources & Business Development of Rekind to Sambelia Head Sub-District Ahmad Fauzan and Head of Padak Guar Village, Tarmidzi. Witnessed by NTB Governor Zulkieflimansyah, Operational Director of Rekind-Jakub Tarigan, Grzegors-Managing Director for Foreign Market Rafako and Aji Sutrisno – Executive Vice President of JBTBN Regional Construction of PT PLN (Persero).
Besides Rekind and the Polish Embassy, the realization of this collaboration was also supported by Rafako SA (a Polish-based company engaged in the field of EPC, Power Generation Oil & Gas) and PT PLN (Persero), as the party who was directly involved in the work on the Lombok PLTU Project. , CFSPP – FTP-2 2×50 MW. Coincidentally Padak Guar Village, Sambelia, is the area closest to this national project activity.
This joint step aims to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates, while supporting government programs. Moreover, based on data from the NTB Health Office, East Lombok is one of the regencies in NTB that has high infant mortality.
The medical device assistance that was also planned to be given to 7 Polindes (Village Maternity Centers) in Sambelia Sub-District including 4 Dimensions Ultrasound, Medical Oxygen Regulator, Adult Blood Pressure Gaunge, Children & Baby Scales, Children & Baby Hospitech Nasal Oxygen, Nebulizer, partus set and many others. “Giving this assistance is only the first step. In the future there will be other assistance that we will give to the people of Lombok, “said Blata Stoczynska.
For this reason, the existence of the Padak Guar Poskesdes, the Sambelia Health Center and the Polindes must be able to become a center for providing health services that are more complete, inexpensive with guaranteed quality. “If empowered properly, there is an opportunity to accelerate the pace of development in the health sector, especially in efforts to reduce maternal and child mortality rates that are the government’s concern,” said Triyani Utaminingsih.
The provision of assistance, specifically the renovation of the Poskesdes, is also a series of CSR-PBKL Rekind activities, which recently also provided assistance to the community through the 2019 Environmental Satisfaction Survey (SKL) in Padak Guar Village. This step is one form of absorption of aspirations for the community, whose location is very close to the project activities.
“We realize that this form of social activity is far from perfect. However, we hope that the community will accept the sincere intention of this assistance and always maintain and make good use of the assistance provided, “said Triyani Utaminingsih.
