Through the Hexagon Elite Award Event, which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) again won the Best In Design award. The name Fandy Maulana SR from Rekind, for the second time was trusted to win this award.
The Hexagon Elite Award is an event organized by the Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division which provides awards for development and innovation using Hexagon solutions.
The Hexagon team assesses that the design work produced by Rekind is more innovative and consistent, so that it is able to simplify EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) work activities so that they are more integrated, especially in terms of planning and 3D models.
It is also believed that this work can improve better collaboration, especially in efforts to make targeted decisions in order to increase productivity, operational integrity and sustainability of industrial facilities.
The design submitted by Fandi and the 3D Design team has been applied to the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Unitized Gas Field Project, in Bojonegoro, East Java, whose operations were inaugurated by the Indonesian Vice President KH Ma’ruf Amin on February 8 2023.
In this National Strategic Project (PSN), Rekind is required to optimally present innovative ideas in the EPC field so that it can provide added value in all sectors, both for the project owner, government, industry and the community who will later feel the benefits of the gas produced. Through Rekind’s competence, JTB will supply gas sales of 192 MMSCFD in stages for the needs of power plants and industry in East Java and Central Java.
“This is the 5th time that Rekind has been selected as the winner of this prestigious event. “Hopefully this can be an encouragement for all of us so we can continue to work and innovate in any difficult conditions,” said Rekind President Director Triyani Utaminingsih proudly.
This award, she continued, is clear proof that Rekind’s best sons and daughters, as children of the nation, can master process design and EPC industrial technology, even at the global level. “This effort also illustrates the spirit that Rekind continues to grow as an integrated, nation-owned EPC company to continue working to continue to support development in the energy and industrial sectors of the country,” she added.
This Hexagon event is a global award for users of Hexagon PPM’s application in the form of engineering software for use in design, construction, operations and offshore facilities. Previously in 2022, 2019, 2018 and 2015, Rekind also won a total of 10 awards from the event which was attended by more than 100 participants from various well-known companies throughout the world.
