The Holy Month of Ramadan is a special momentum for PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) to share happiness with others. Through the Majelis Ta’lim Ulul Albaab (MTUA), Rekind held a donation activity for 40 orphans who live around the company’s environment. The event, which took place with warmth and a religious nuance, was held at the Ulul Albaab Mosque, Rekind Head Office, Kalibata, Pancoran, South Jakarta.
This activity was not only about providing donations, but also a means of friendship between the company’s Management, employees, and the orphans who attended. The event became more meaningful through religious messages delivered by Ustadz Rahman Saleh, M.H, M.Si, the contents of which reminded us of the importance of sharing and blessings in life.
Present at the event were Director of Operations & Technology/Development Yusairi and Director of Finance & HR Dedy Rinaldi. In addition, Rekind Management, the Board of Directors of Affiliated Subsidiaries, and the leaders and Management of the Reka Sejahtera Cooperative also participated. Their presence emphasized the importance of togetherness and concern in building a harmonious environment.
But what is clear is that this donation is part of Rekind’s commitment and all its subsidiaries in carrying out social responsibility. In addition to being a form of gratitude for the company’s positive achievements, this activity also reflects Rekind’s concern for the surrounding community, especially those in need.
EVP Operation Rekind, M. Darma Setiawan, who represented the President Director in his speech, emphasized that sharing is one way to achieve virtue and glory in the month of Ramadan. He expressed his gratitude because all the funds for the assistance given came from zakat, infak, and sedekah collected from the congregation and Rekind employees. “Alhamdulillah, this sharing and assistance activity is fully supported by zakat, infak, and sedekah from the congregation. Hopefully, with this practice, Allah SWT will pour out blessings on all of us. Because indeed the blessings of Allah SWT are what we need most,” he said.
Furthermore, Darma Setiawan expressed his hope that this assistance could provide a little happiness for the orphans who are loved by Allah and His Messenger. “Please pray, son. Hopefully the donors will always be given ample sustenance and blessings in their lives,” he added with full hope. Happiness radiated from the faces of the orphans who received assistance at this event.
With great enthusiasm, they followed the series of events, starting from the sermon to breaking the fast together. The atmosphere of emotion and warmth was felt when the company leaders directly provided assistance and greeted the children with great affection. As a company that has high social care values,
Rekind is committed to continuing to hold sharing activities in the future. Social programs like this are part of the company’s efforts to provide benefits to the surrounding environment and create harmonious relationships with the community.
